Now that you're here, what next? A few simple steps can help get your year started right and make the most of your first semester.

Your Future Career Begins Here!

College is an excellent time to explore career paths. You most likely have an idea of what you want to do after graduation, but few students have a definite career in mind. Introductory courses like ASCI 101 can help you learn more by discussing the wide range of professions within the field of Animal Science. While at college, do internships and job shadow professionals to see what different careers are like and where your interests lie. Attend career fairs to network industries and organizations looking to hire college graduates. They can give you a good feel for the job market and the qualities you will need to succeed.
