Animal Science Scholarships

The Animal Science Department offers scholarships to incoming freshmen and transfer students, as well as students at the sophomore, junior and senior level within the UNL Animal Science Program. For the 2007-2008 academic year, close to $21,000 in scholarships were awarded to incoming freshmen and transfer students, and nearly $43,000 in scholarships were awarded to upperclass UNL Animal Science students. The criteria, qualifications and application process varies according to the scholarship. CASNR Scholarships

Each year CASNR students are awarded more than three-quarters of a million dollars in scholarships through departments and the CASNR Dean's Office. These awards range from $50 to $10,000. If you are interested in a CASNR major, you are encouraged to apply for CASNR scholarships through the University of Nebraska Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. UNL Scholarships and Financial Aid

The University offers many scholarships and other financial aid to assist students with college costs. Requirements and amounts vary depending on the individual scholarships.
