Animal Science Academic Advising

Each student is assigned a faculty advisor in the Animal Science Department. Advisors help with scheduling of classes, scholarship applications, internships, and many other questions regarding education and careers. The following is a list of the Animal Science Department advisors. Click on a name for his or her contact information. Animal Science Student Jobs

A large number of undergraduate students work part-time for the Animal Science Department while attending college. Jobs are available for students through the Federal Work-Study Program or through the Animal Science Department directly. Currently, students work in several areas of the department, including the animal handling units, ruminant nutrition lab, meats lab, small animal research lab, physiology and genetics labs, clerical office, and several of the units at the Agricultural Research and Development Center (ARDC) located at Mead, NE. Animal Science Internship Listings

Internships are a fundamental part of your college academic experience. Animal Science students are required to complete four credit hours of experiential learning to earn their undergraduate degree, which can be composed of industry study tours and internship work. Internships give students a chance to explore different careers within the industry and gain valuable professional skills.  To receive credit for an internship, complete the Internship Contract Form . Professors will only accept the Internship Contract Form from the internet.
