Equestrian Academy


The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension and Purina Mills will host the Equestrian Academy, which is designed to help horse owners become more knowledgeable in equine health and training. Equestrian Academy is an educational opportunity in equine science for the professional or amateur horseperson. Classes will be taught by equine professionals who will give insight on a wide variety of equine health and training topics including: equine digestive systems and feeding plans, movement and conformation, chiropractic care, joint health and therapy, hoof functions and proper hoof care, trailer loading, careers in the horse industry, and drills to develop a good seat and hands.
